Refractory Materials Series for Iron-Making Furnaces

As a critical vessel for storing and mixing molten iron, the lining material of a hot metal ladle is subjected to both gravitational forces and chemical erosion from the molten iron and slag. Based on the operating conditions and failure mechanisms of the ladle lining, our plant has developed and produced high-performance refractory materials specifically designed for ladle linings. These materials boast excellent mechanical strength, outstanding slag resistance, a dense microstructure, superior thermal shock resistance, and minimal post-burning linear change—making them ideal for withstanding the harsh demands of ladle operations.
