With the continued growth of the national economy, China’s production of calcined dolomite for active lime and metallic magnesium is steadily increasing year by year, steadily moving toward advanced technologies, high-quality standards, and large-scale, energy-efficient, emission-reducing, and low-carbon operations. Meanwhile, the refractory materials used in these industrial kilns are highly complex, demanding exceptional performance characteristics.
In recent years, our company has developed and introduced mullite-based phosphate-bonded anti-spalling and wear-resistant bricks, as well as composite refractories—specifically tailored to meet the demanding requirements of industrial kilns used for calcining dolomite and producing active lime for metallic magnesium applications. Additionally, we’ve created high-performance materials such as plastic castables for preheaters and coolers, alumina-based steel-fiber wear-resistant castables, self-flowing roof castables, mullite-alumina-silicon carbide wear-resistant bricks, and micro-expansive castables designed for use in reduction furnace roofs. Mullite-based phosphate-bonded wear-resistant bricks (MK Wear-Resistant Bricks) and composite bricks are suitable for rotary kilns with diameters exceeding 2.5 meters. MK Wear-Resistant Bricks offer exceptional resistance to spalling and superior abrasion performance. Meanwhile, the composite bricks combine both spalling and abrasion resistance with excellent thermal insulation properties, helping to reduce both raw material consumption and the surface temperature of the kiln shell.
