Product Description

Non-stick aluminum castables are specialized refractory materials designed specifically for the aluminum processing industry. Combining the properties of both organic and inorganic binders, these materials incorporate a carefully formulated amount of a novel, aluminum-insoluble composite refractory additive. This unique composition effectively inhibits the erosion of the refractory by molten aluminum, ensuring that the non-stick aluminum castables maintain high bulk density, superior mechanical strength, and remain completely wetted-resistant by aluminum liquid. They are primarily used in applications such as furnace walls and bases for melting aluminum, degassing boxes, flow channels and spouts, front chambers, and holding furnaces. Our company’s proprietary non-stick aluminum technology addresses critical challenges in the aluminum industry—namely, the reactive interaction between refractory materials and molten aluminum, as well as the troublesome growth of corundum nodules.
