Product Description

High-strength, energy-efficient wollastonite-based thermal insulation products are manufactured using a high-reactivity silica fume and quartz sand mixture as the siliceous raw material. These products are produced via a secondary reaction process that incorporates gel-setting followed by autoclaving, significantly reducing energy consumption. The resulting material boasts exceptional features: high mechanical strength, superior thermal resistance, lightweight properties, and outstanding insulation performance. Wollastonite can withstand temperatures up to 1000°C, with densities ranging from 300 to 800 kg/m³. At an average temperature of 200°C, its thermal conductivity is between 0.071 and 0.121 W/m·K. Moreover, these products exhibit remarkable long-term stability in both physical and chemical properties, making them ideal for applications such as insulating and supporting the sidewalls of kilns, the bottom linings of aluminum electrolysis cells, and other industrial furnaces where both thermal insulation and structural load-bearing capacity are critical.
